A guy a few blocks from me has this beautiful, but a little on-the-nose, restored 60's Bronco. He drives it once every two weeks in a loop and then back under the carport. It’s basically too valuable to actually use.

wow... had to be some weed that influenced that purchase. Are we sure all these crazy BAT buys aren’t some sort of Russian destabilization tactic?

It’s like SoHo penthouses or Picassos , rich people use these kind of things to dodge taxes, launder money and all kind of shit.

I think at that point you might as well sell it. If you can’t enjoy driving it why not cash out?

If they’re crazy enough to spend that much on a Chinook, they are irrational, so you never really can tell what will happen.

Sounds similar to a guy that I worked with. He had a 1965 GTO that he would pull out of the garage once a month to wash. When he was done drying it, he would drive around the block to dry the underside a bit and circulate the fluids. In the 10 plus years we worked together, I never once saw the car, but I heard about it often.

its very cool and its going to be a great marketing asset for some up and coming social media presence. but man are there more effective ways to spend 50 grand in off-road camping

100 mph speedo in this is a bit of overkill, but not as much as the winning bid.
One of my eccentric aunts had the standard 2WD version of this, and while it was a treat to hang out in as a kid, they don’t hold quite the same appeal now. Great looking compact RV, though.

You can fit a lot crack in there.
